Tryout Registration

Pre Registration Process:
The registration fee for tryouts is $30 when paid online via PayPal or check. Online registration will close 24 hours before the first night of the age group tryouts. The registration fee includes an NAVC t-shirt which should be worn BOTH nights of tryouts.

On Site Check in:
The registration will open 1 hour prior to the start of the session, please complete the registration form and the waiver prior to arriving. Day of registration is $40 paid via cash or check only. Please make checks payable to North Atlanta Volleyball Club.

Tryouts:
Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled tryout, to ensure time to check in, get shoes on and be ready to step on the court. We will begin stretching and warming up 10 minutes prior.
After the first day of tryouts a callback list will be posted for the second night. If you can not wait around, it will be posted online. At the end of the 2nd night of tryouts we will post teams and there will be a short team meeting with you new team for players and parents immediately following the tryout, at this point we will ask you to advise us on your decision as of that moment;

A. Yes you want to play for NAVC,

B. No you do not,

C. Maybe, as you are trying out with other clubs.

We completely understand that you may change your mind no final decision has to be reached until commitment night; however it will give us a better understanding of where the team is and how it affects other players of that age.

We can’t stress enough that we are not concerned with any Monetary commitment at this time, only what your thoughts are, and every player will leave knowing which team they will play for if they choose to commit to that team.

On Sunday Nov 9th all teams chosen will have a Coaches meet and greet workout. This will be a skills workout session with the coach, we encourage the girls to be there and meet the coaches and other players of that team as it may help you decide if NAVC is the right family for you. We will let you know of the time for your team at tryouts.

November 12th is the first day based on the Southern Region Volleyball Association (SRVA) rules, a player can be required to make a commitment to any particular club. We will have a meeting that night to get all paperwork squared away; we will then also be collecting $700 which will be applied to the club fee.

Since 1991 the North Atlanta Volleyball Club has been a Junior Olympic Club dedicated to the growth and development of volleyball players from 10 to 18 years old. Our players come from Atlanta and the surrounding areas to play and compete in USA Junior Olympic volleyball tournaments.
