PLYOMETRICS

North Atlanta’s partnership with PlyoCity
PlyoCity is the largest and fastest growing plyometric training company in the country. Training such athletes as Misty May, Kerri Walsh, Karch Kiraly, and Mike Lambert. PlyoCity is a proven speed, agility and jump training workout with low impact and high results. We are very excited about the results with our first couple years and are excited to continue with the program this year.  Our 14-18 yr old athletes will participate in the training twice a week during preseason (Nov – Dec) and once a week during the tournament season (Jan – April) Our 13yr old and under athletes will train once a week all season

Why Plyo?
Team practice alone is no longer enough to develop the necessary skills to be successful in today's Junior, Senior, High, Club or College Sports Programs. You need to exceed what is required from yourself to rise above the competition, and improve your overall game. The few that are able to do this are usually the ones who will advance to the next level. Plyos work on your quickness, balance, vertical and help develop the muscles that prevent many of the common injuries.

"Plyometrics is defined as exercises that enable a muscle to reach maximum strength in as short a time as possible. This speed-strength ability is known as power," says plyo expert D. Chu.
