13 Blaze

13 Blaze takes home the 13 Silver Championship at Regionals
Although the 13 Blaze Team was sad that their season was coming to an end, they were looking forward to the SRVA Regional Tournament! The girls truly came together and played their best volleyball throughout the weekend. They were supported by their parents and siblings who came to cheer them on! Each match they focused on having fun and working hard. They had a winning attitude which contributed to how well they played. Winning the Silver Championship Division was really exciting for the girls, and helped them to realize that all the hard work they put in throughout the season paid off! Their coaches were extremely proud of them and we all had a fun time watching them win on Sunday. Congrats Ladies!

18 Blaze

Senior Setter Claire Brummeler, who has committed to Agnes Scott in the fall lead the group to victory. Congrats ladies on a hard earned win.

Dig Pink 15 Blaze

Congrats to 15 Blaze who is currently the #4 team in the country in fundraising for the Side Out Foundation. Over 1000 teams participated in the fundraising effort this year.

The girls set a goal of $1500 and worked very hard to meet and then exceed that, raising a total of $2,004. They really embraced the spirit of the Dig Pink Tour and got behind a great cause, Raising awareness and funds for Brest Cancer Research.

Great Job Ladies this is truly something to be proud of!

14 Heat finding great success at the Peachtree Classic
14 Heat had a very exciting weekend at the Peachtree Classic, finishing 5th out 22 teams, highlighted by a very exciting and hard- fought 30-28 victory over a previously undefeated team to seal their position in the quarterfinals. Some very tough serving and amazing defense were they keys to their success, along with amazing support from team parents cheering from the bleachers! The level of improvement this team shows at each and every tournament is awesome to see!

16 Blaze wins the Allstate New Orleans Classic
With the parents cheering them on the 16 Blaze team beat Red Storm 16s in a thrilling 3 game battle capped off by Michelle Kuntz serving the game winning ACE. Coaches Lesley and Leandra attribute the success to the whole team playing their part and a very consistent play. Mary Overton had Red Storms number from the rightside, while outstanding blocking performances by the middles; Michelle Johnson and Joanna Palmer kept Red Storm on their heels. Great Job Ladies.
