There will be an open tryout for all ages Friday night, Nov. 14th at North Atlanta HS from 7-9pm

Player of the Week
Chelsea Herr is normally
a middle hitter for the Marietta volleyball team but got
to play outside hitter and back row for the lady blue devils
in the Sequoyah Classic Tournament over the weekend en route
to a runner-up finish.
Herr's finest performance of the weekend by far was the
Marietta's come-from-behind victory over White Water in
the semi-finals Saturday evening. She finished with 9 digs,
7 kills, 3 1/2 blocks and 3 aces. |

Strengths: Good on defense, goes for every
ball; being at the right spot at the right time, and front
row hitting.
I'm working on: becoming more consistent
on jump serve; defensive blocking
Goals for the season: to go to state and
make it to the finals after showing potential this weekend
at the Sequoyah Classic tournament

Director Honored for Achievement
Keith Ricketts - Club Director, honored for his outstanding
achievement and involvement with grass roots volleyball
in Georgia, at the annual USA Volleyball Boyce Banquet held
in Atlanta on May 22nd. Congratulations Keith! Your whole
NAVC family is proud of you. |
Since 1991 the North Atlanta
Volleyball Club has been a Junior Olympic Club dedicated to the
growth and development of volleyball players from 10 to 18 years
old. Our players come from Atlanta and the surrounding areas to
play and compete in USA Junior Olympic volleyball
tournaments.
